Briefing Note: CSSC North East & Yorkshire Region – Regional Roadshow Events

Dear CSSC Regional Colleagues,

During a meeting of the Regional Management Team earlier this week it was agreed that one of
our objectives for 2020 was to spend more time across the region and meeting with members,
colleagues and potentially be introduced to organisations who would like to become members.
We found the best way to achieve this would be by introducing a series of ‘Roadshows’ where
we are able to provide an update to members about developments within the organisation, to
invite an external speaker to discuss a topical matter that impacts the region or sectors within it
and finally to enable networking to take place.

Our proposed schedule will be as follows:
o January 2020 – Hull area.
o February 2020 – Durham/Tyne and Wear area
o 19th March 2020 – The Village Hotel, Leeds South, West Yorkshire – Hosted by Kings Secure Technologies.
o (TBC – Northumbria)
o (TBC – South Yorkshire)
o (TBC – Cleveland)

If any members or their organisations would be interested in hosting or supporting any of these
events please let myself or Ashley (CSSC Coordinator) know.
It is anticipated that details of the January event will be shared with colleagues and on the wider
social media over the coming month.
