Please find below details shared by Police Scotland and Glasgow City Council regarding upcoming road closures during the Tour of Britain Women’s Cycling Event on 8th June 2025. A copy of the route can also be found here: Stage Four: The Glasgow Stage – Lloyds Tour of Britain

Roads affected and dates and times of restriction applying to all vehicles except for an emergency service vehicle carrying out an emergency response or vehicles given permission from Glasgow City Council events section.

The following roads will have a NO WAITING AND NO LOADING OR UNLOADING restrictions from 15:00hrs on 7 June 2025 to 21:00 on 8 June 2025.

The same roads will have a PROHIBITION OF DRIVING from 04:00hrs to 21:00hrs on 8 June 2025.

“vehicle” unless the context otherwise requires, means a vehicle of any description and includes a machine or implement of any kind drawn or propelled along roads whether or not by mechanical power;
“emergency service vehicle” means a vehicle being used by the Police, Fire or Ambulance Services to also include NHS blood transfer vehicles.
