CSSC Green Message – Crimestoppers national campaign – students focused awareness

Crimestoppers launches a national campaign to empower students to speak up anonymously about crime.

Crimestoppers’ campaign aims to create awareness amongst young adults, focussing on university students across the UK. The messaging encourages audiences to speak up to our independent charity about crimes that disproportionately affect young people.

Key issues the campaign tackles include:

Burglary, robbery and theft
Drugs offences (focussed on Ketamine and spiking – drinks and vapes)
Financial exploitation (scams, fraud and money mules)
Messaging will be delivered via digital platforms, including search engines and social media, and a digital campaign pack will be circulated to universities across the UK to amplify our reach.

4 week  campaign: 22 September to 19 October

The campaign landing page provides multiple opportunities for users to give information 100% anonymously.

Additionally it provides advise on how to stay safe, by knowing the signs of the crimes.
