CSSC North East & Yorkshire Chair – Andy Davis

Managing Director of Trident Manor

Andy Davis has been directly involved in security and risk management roles since 1987. He holds an MSc. degree in Security and Risk Management, is a CSyP, a FSyI as well as being board certified by ASIS International as a Certified Protection Professional. Andy’s skills, knowledge and experience have been gained within the UK military, police service, as a diplomat, as the Corporate Head of Security of a multi-billion dollar organisation overseas, and in his current role as Director of Trident Manor an independent risk, security and crisis management consultancy based in the North-East of England. Andy is committed to helping develop the professionalism of the security industry and is a member of the ‘CSO RoundTable’ (Chief Security Officer), an exclusive group of top global security executives, & is the Vice-Chair of the ASIS International Cultural Properties Council. On the 1st August 2019, Andy was honoured to be appointed as the Chair for the CSSC programme for the North-East & Yorkshire region of the UK. andy.davis@tridentmanor.com

CSSC North East & Yorkshire HUB Coordinators – Tia Walbank & Harry Forsyth

The Hub is supported and located at Kings Secure Technologies HQ in West Yorkshire lead by our hub team. Since April 2018 Kings have acted as a dedicated point of contact between public and private sectors as well as handling the day-to-day activity of the CSSC. Counter-Terrorism Policing has been supported by Kings through the co-hosting of regional Counter-Terrorism Events which were advertised through the successful North East & Yorkshire CSSC network.

CTSA Liason Officer 

Working under the Protect and Prepare strands of the UK CONTEST Strategy the Counter-Terrorism Security Advisor (CTSA) teamwork to strengthen our protection against a terrorist attack and mitigate the impact of a terrorist attack. The regional CTSA team focus on providing protective security advice to businesses, organisations and partners across the region to better protect our public and private spaces. Working with communities, local partners and services we aim to enhance and improve the plans, policies and procedures in place to identify, respond to and recover from a terrorist attack. Counter-Terrorism Policing North East through the Regional CTSA Team support and work in partnership with the CSSC across the region to promote and enhance security messaging both regionally and nationally.

 

East Riding Sub-Regional Point of Contact – Jon Webster

Jon has over 35 years’ experience within the Police and Security Industry. Having held various senior management positions within Global and National business sectors along with being an Associate Member of the City Security Council, he brings with him a passion to protect people and is an advocate for a better tomorrow for all.

As the Founder & Managing Director of EOS Security Limited, his focus is on communities, people and the environment and he believes that by balancing innovation, technology and intelligence sharing with outstanding customer service, sustainability, ethical measures and caring natures he can heighten awareness for all in respect of security, safety and the world around us.

West Yorkshire Sub-Regional Point of Contact -Kevin Preston

Head of Security (Stadium and Events) Wakefield Trinity (Rugby League)

Kevin has over 35 years’ experience within the Guarding, Event & Leisure Security industry, seamlessly managing a broad range of assignments and projects, working for a number of contract service companies. Kevin has been liaising with the CSSC since 2017 in sharing relevant advice and information through colleagues and associates.

Kevin was appointed Stadium Manager at Belle Vue Stadium, home of Wakefield Trinity RLFC in September 2020, having been involved with the Club since 1999 following their promotion to Super League in 2000 I took on the role of Ground Safety Officer. He is looking forward to widening his involvement with CSSC in sharing his knowledge and experience and in continuing to learn from others along the way.

Northumbria Sub-Regional Point of Contact – Don Wilkinson

Customer Service & Security Manager at Manor Walks Shopping Centre / ABM

Having worked in the industry for a number of years, Don brings a wealth of knowledge surrounding shopping centres and the risks and threats associated within them. Don is extremely proactive with local and CT Policing teams and we look forward to giving you a further introduction soon.

 

North Yorkshire Sub-Regional Point of Contact – Mark Dinsdale

Senior Physical Security, Intelligence, and Strategy Manager at Post Office Ltd

With 28 years’ experience, Mark is involved with security strategy, policy, procedures, standards, and equipment for Branches and has an active involvement with the National Federation of Sub-Postmasters. With 11,500 branches, Post Office remains a vital part of the high street.

 

South Yorkshire Sub-Regional Point of Contact – Charlotte Brown

Head of Safety and Security at JCT600

Charlotte is Head of Safety and Security for JCT600, who are one of the UK’s largest family owned and best-regarded car dealers. Charlotte is passionate about reducing security and safety risk in the auto-motive sector, through a blend of innovation, technology and intelligence; looking to create a more proactive and inclusive safety and security culture.
